Before joining the firm, David served as a judicial law clerk for U.S. District Judge Jeffrey V. Brown, Texas Supreme Court Justice Jane N. Bland, and U.S. Magistrate Judge Andrew M. Edison, providing him a rare, behind-the-scenes understanding of how courts evaluate legal arguments and insight into the decision-making process.

In private practice, David has focused primarily on complex commercial litigation and appeals—most recently, representing group insurers and plan administrators in a broad range of matters related to the administration and reimbursement of healthcare services.

David’s versatile background equips him with the ability to analyze cases from multiple angles, anticipate opposing strategies, and craft persuasive arguments that align with both judicial expectations and client objectives.
